The 4th Step

When you turn the PSP on, the computer will identify it as some kind of removable drive, so you can see it in “My Computer.” Double click the PSP, that will give you access to its memory stick from the computer, and copy and paste the game files from the computer onto the memory stick of the PSP. Note that the games should go into a file called PSP, and then one called GAME. If those folders don’t exist you will need to create them in order to make the games run.

The 5th Step

That’s basically to download games onto your PSP. Once the files are transferred to the PSP, you should launch them by opening up the GAME menu and choosing the games. At this point you may get errors; they are often caused by incompatible firmware. This is a common problem when you downloaded homebrew stuff, but you can solve this problem by downgrading the firmware on your PSP to the early ones.
