A Brief History Of Mario And Its Future
Everyone who has ever played a video game has heard of the Mario brothers, the game is a common household name. No matter what age, young or old, this dynamic duo is well known has gotten so much great exposure over the years from all of series that were produced. The history of Mario is quite interesting as it continues to still get a lot of attention.
The Mario Brothers was not always a home video game that was played each on the televisions of almost everyone’s home. It was not always like that as the game started as an arcade version first as Donkey Kong in the year of 1981 and the character was a carpenter known only as Jump Man.
Donkey Kong along with Donkey Kong Junior also were hits among the arcades too. It was Nintendo that began the development on a spin off game for Jump Man in the year 1983 and Mario Brothers was then released later that same year. The side view platform game like Donkey Kong then introduced players to his brother Luigi, which then allowed two players to be able to play simultaneously. The brothers then became plumbers in this version of the series.
By 1985 the Mario brothers video game was now made to be much longer from Nintendo. The game was now known as Super Mario Brothers 1, and it was then that this game started to take its place in video game history. In Japan in 1986 was put out on the market with the addition of newer features, which made these game known as the hardest version in the series of Mario Brothers.
Later Nintendo would release a much more modified version which was taken from the Japanese Doki Doki Panic game with the Mario characters added to it this game was then sent to the market in the year of 1988 and was known as Super Mario brothers 2. It did not take too long as in the year of 1990 the Mario Brothers 3 hit the market and this one was considered to be the most greatest of the long series of the famous video game.
The Mario Brothers came a long way over the years from its start as just an arcade game on up to the game that everyone played in their homes and then right up to its current status as The new Super Mario Brothers. Nintendo Wii was released in the year 2006. This game will always be known as the greatest game in the history of video games and will still continue on well into the future.
